The Institute for International Law and Human Rights (IILHR) is a non-governmental organization committed to the promotion of democracy and human rights in countries emerging from conflict.
With offices in Washington, DC; Brussels, Belgium; and Baghdad, Iraq, IILHR works with governments, NGOs, and other partners to develop and strengthen human rights laws and institutions and to create rule of law programming that benefit all society, including women and children, internally displaced persons, refugees, and minority populations.
Our staff has participated in legal, legislative, and civil society capacity-building programs in the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe. We are committed to providing rapid, flexible, and responsive approaches with a worldwide network of experts capable of aiding government and civil society leaders. Our board members offer expertise and guidance with their extensive experience in international law, advocacy, and management.
